Bar Review: Wet Willie’s

When you arrive at Wet Willie’s it blends into the rest of the strip. It’s a large bar, but kind of feels like a cool dive bar with lots of personality.  After having your ID checked, the first thing you see is a row of slushie machines behind a bar. Downstairs, there are only 4 or 5 of these alcoholic slushie machines. Looking at these, you might think that there’s limited drink options, but it’s not true.

You have to go up the giant staircase to the second floor to really see all of the options.

Beautiful

It was crazy to see that many slushie machines in a row, especially knowing that they’re all highly alcoholic made with 351. There are a ton of options and those options become unlimited when you realize that you can mix flavors together.  And you can try small samples before you select.

Our waiter was full of suggestions. I originally wanted to order the ‘Call Me a Cab’ but it’s one of the strongest on the menu and our waiter recommended a great blend idea with Shock Treatment. It was quite the yummy blend. The flavor was good while maintaining its strength.  Baros stuck to his guns and ordered a simple Melon flavor which was delicious.

We spent the rest of the evening sipping our crazy strong drinks and chatting the night away. No one rushed us even though we didn’t order food.  I honestly don’t think either of us had realized that they had food, otherwise we may have left some room for snacks.

If you’re going to have more than one drink each, I strongly recommend eating something!  The drinks are sweet, tasty and STRONG!
